Salter Brothers Hospitality expands management team

Following the launch of Salter Brothers Hospitality, which also saw the appointment of Tash Tobias as CEO, Salter Brothers has made a number of senior appointments to the platform:
- Chief Commercial Officer: John Thompson with responsibility for the sales, revenue management and reservations functions. John is a career-long commercial hotelier with more than 25 years’ experience in the hospitality sector in Europe and Australasia, holding leadership positions for global hotel brands including Hilton, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) and, most recently, Minor Hotels. John has a strong reputation as a respected commercial leader. He owned and operated a successful consultancy business in the UK where he provided bespoke commercial solutions through consultancy, training and coaching to leading organisations within the hospitality industry across Europe.
- Chief Financial Officer: Matthew Lord joins with vast experience in hotels and hospitality having held prior senior finance roles with Marriott Vacation & Marriott International across the Asia Pacific region. Matthew will be leading the Salter Brothers Hospitality Finance, People, Innovation & Technology teams.
- Director, Acquisitions, Development & Strategy: Raphael Antonini has been seconded from the investment management team for this newly created role, which will be responsible for leading the strategic development of the Salter Brothers Hospitality brand and acquisition of owned, managed and licensed hotels, retreats and estates.
- Creative Director, Brand & Design: Kate Greenwood is responsible for creating and developing the design concepts and brand standards for assigned assets in the portfolio. She has over 25 years’ experience specialising in the interior design of high end, luxury interior hospitality and residential properties. Before jointly setting up and running Studioaria in Sydney in 2010, Kate worked for ten years as a partner / manager of BBGM in Sydney, New York & Hong Kong.
- Director, Culinary & Creative Experience: Matthew Butcher responsible for culinary operations of Salter Brothers Hospitality. Matthew’s passion for innovation, coupled with his extensive experience in the culinary arts, has been instrumental in shaping and elevating the Salter Brothers portfolio and stands him in good stead for his new role.
- Director, Spa & Wellness: Jessica Kershaw another newly created role, which will be responsible for our spa and wellness strategy within the retreats portfolio, to further uplift our guest experience and focus on developing out our luxury lifestyle offering.
